In Carnes, Iowa, an incident occurred on Wednesday, July 26th, involving a Sioux City man and his pickup truck. According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, at around 10:10 a.m., 24-year-old Trebor Mosey, a resident of Sioux City, was driving a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup in the northbound direction on Highway 60, near Carnes, which is located approximately five and a half miles south of Orange City. Tragically, Mosey lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer into the median and roll over.

In response to the accident, the Orange City Ambulance promptly arrived at the scene and transported Mosey to Orange City Area Health for medical assessment and treatment. The Ford pickup sustained significant damage estimated at around $7,000. Subsequent to a thorough investigation, the deputy on the scene suspected that Mosey was operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Upon Mosey’s discharge from medical care, law enforcement authorities took him into custody and transferred him to the Sioux County Jail. There, he faced multiple charges, including operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance.

As this news story is still only recently developing, it is not known what sentence Mosey will get but based on the above, he may be facing a few years behind bars.
