Australian bakery opens in Hoboken
The Mile Square has gained a new addition to its culinary scene, and this one is sure to have your taste buds dancing like a boomerang! Boomerang Bites, a beloved Australian bakery, has officially soft-opened its doors at 152 Newark Street in Hoboken, taking over the former Madison Pizza Lab space.
The bakery’s Instagram account made the announcement on October 13th, and the bakery is currently open from 10 AM to 2 PM, Monday through Saturday, giving locals a chance to taste the delicious Down Under-inspired treats. From mouth-watering lamingtons to delectable ANZAC biscuits, Boomerang Bites offers a unique and authentic Aussie experience that is sure to leave you satisfied and wanting more.
Despite only opening recently, the cafe has so far received positive reviews from the Hoboken community, with many praising its unusual choice of snacks and bread selections.
While Boomerang Bites is certainly a welcome addition to the Hoboken food scene, it’s bittersweet to hear that Madison Pizza Lab has shuttered its doors.
