JEFFERSON — The Panorama volleyballers came up short in a pair of two-game matches at Greene County Tuesday.
South Central Calhoun (15-11) was a 25-11, 25-15 winner over Panorama (5-6), with Greene County (9-5) a 25-10, 30-28 victor. SCC defeated the hosts, 25-21, 21-18, in the other match.
Angel Poldberg had eight kills, Jaidyn Sellers five, Jazmyn Sellers and Grace Webner four apiece and Tyme Boettcher two. Mollie Monthei had 21 total assists, with Jazmyn Sellers adding one.
Boettcher’s 14 digs led the Panthers, with nine digs apiece coming from each of the Sellers sisters and from Webner. Poldberg, Monthei, and Carley Van Gundy had three digs apiece, with Andrea Hammer having one.
Jazmyn Sellers served 11-of-13 with four aces and Boettcher 6-of-10 with three aces. Monthei was 13-15-1, Poldberg 10-13-1, Webner 6-of-11, and Jaidyn Sellers 2-of-3.
The team was 48-65-9 overall, a low 74 percent. Panorama struggled serving against SCC in particular, connecting on only 15-of-27 with two aces.
Action resumes for Panorama Saturday at the Southwest Valley Tournament, with West Central Valley coming to Panora Tuesday.
